Interestingly, once I noticed the name of the tale, I remembered that Hermit and Mouse were two nicknames I was given around the same time frame. Neither one really stuck, but Mouse was the one used most to define me. The two together would indicate that I am a quiet person, not so outgoing, that likes to spend time alone. So why not include them here?
I also found a really cool link to another link/blog about nature and herbs and gardening and creative thoughts that I will definitely explore more in depth - but it will have to wait until after I get some sleep! If I didn't have to work in the morning I'd do that next. Unfortunately, earning a living takes priority. Which means I should get to the point here, if I can figure out what it is.
I guess that to me, a beginning is about starting with baby steps, and going through the phases that are needed to evolve and grow and learn. I am pretty sure that, if I manage to keep this going long enough, this blog will broaden its scope and hopefully, will be interesting enough for people to want to read. For the moment, this will have to be my fledgling who is learning to unfold its wings and stand poised at the edge of the nest, waiting for its chance to fly.
